Rates for 27’ RV Abigail

The Research Vessel Abigail is a 27’ Maycraft with twin 140 hp, 4 stroke outboard engines. She is trailered and can be at most eastern USA sites within one day. Trailering to and from the work area is billed only at the minimal day rate of the operator, plus expenses. Once at the site the RV Abigail arrives with a heated/AC enclosed cabin, a davit for handling instruments over the side, and a 3000 watt ultra-quiet Honda generator.

Half of the spacious cabin is devoted to a counter for survey computers. She has all the necessary safety gear; from a life raft to personal work vests. A USCG licensed Captain is always provided for our clients to ensure confidence and safety.

Equipped with a complete set of top quality shipboard electronics, she has done work in conditions that would have sent most boats her size back to port. Scientific equipment is provided on an as needed basis.
